A usual starting dose is 0.5 mg 2-3 times daily. An average therapeutic dose is 4-6 mg/daily; the maximal dose is 20 mg/daily; repetition factor is 2-3 times a day.

Arterial hypotension, chronic heart failure, left ventricular inflation reduced pressure cardiac defects; pregnancy, lactation, childhood less than 12 years; hypersensitivity to Prazosin.

Nephropathy patients should take the drug in reduced doses and with caution.
It is well to control arterial tension and frequency of heartbeats in the upright position and in prone position regularly.
